State College Crow Roost

Every evening I can hear American and Fish Crows flying over my apartment heading towards a night roost. Last semester (Fall 2010) there was a roost along the northern edge of the Northland Center parking lot. This afternoon as I was walking back from campus, I observed a roost of roughly 300 crows. Most of the roost consisted of American Crows, but I could pick out a few Fish Crows by sound. Crows were flying in from all directions to the roost. The roost was located near Sunset Park and the end of Clinton Ave. At the end of last semester, I noticed that crows were roosting between Pollock Rd. and Curtin Rd. Here is a map of the roost location, old roost location, and signs of roost locations.
