female Oldsquaw (long-tailed duck) at Duck Pond

A female Oldsquaw was reported earlier today at the Duck Pond near State College, PA. Nate Fronk and I decided to go down so we could add it to our county and state year lists. We observed the Oldsquaw around 4:15 pm and also found a Green-winged Teal, Horned Grebe, Redhead, and Bufflehead. Green-winged Teal and Oldsquaw brought my Centre County, PA, and Big Year lists to 80 species.
